Dear Mike, children and grandchildren:

We are so sorry for your loss.

I will forever remember the smile in Betty's voice. It was always a pleasure to speak with her as she was so cheerful, unfortunately it was over the phone as we lived so far apart, but the miles melted away as we talked.

Love,
Aunt Jackie and Don

Mike, Mark & family, and Candice & family: My heartfelt condolences at the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. From the first time I met her in our late teens in Brampton, I loved her warmth, her wit, and of course her Newfoundland accent! Loss is so hard, but as the truism states, it’s the cost of having loved. On behalf of myself, Don, and my kids and their families, our love and thoughts are with you.

My heart and soul is with all touched with the sadness of losing Betty. There is no greater loss than the one of a loved one, its so painful and that comes in waves for a while but one thing is for sure, and this I know from experience…they are with us in our everyday and show us that they are. So please don’t get stuck in the mud of sadness for too long, lift your head up sometimes because she will show you some signs if her presence, I promise you! Our hearts are with you in the West Coast, we will keep you close in thoughts when we look at our mountainous beauty and we are so very sorry for this immense loss. Much love! ❤️🙏❤️

Betty (and Mike) are in some of the best memories I have as a kid, carolling down the hallways in the apartment building at Christmas and hanging out at the track with my parents.
I remember Betty was always laughing and in good spirits.
Forever in my memories, Rest in peace.
