Death Notice of Marie Browne
Theresa "Marie" Browne (nee Kieffer) of Durham, formerly of Markdale, passed away suddenly at Serenity House, Durham on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023, in her 89th year.
Loving mother of Dian “Dee” and her husband Jerry Benoit of Barrie, John Londry of Holland Centre, Cathy Londry and her partner Cliff Cragg of Hanover, and mother-in-law of Sussan Londry of Wallaceburg. Marie will be dearly missed by her sister Isabell Sweeney of Durham as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Brian Londry, husbands Jim Londry and Michael Browne, and her brothers Francis, Walter, and Dennis Kieffer and brother-in-law Austin Sweeney.
A memorial mass honouring Marie’s life will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 85 Toronto Street South, Markdale on Wednesday, March 22nd at 10:30 a.m. Following mass, family and friends are welcome to gather for fellowship at Markdale Baptist Church, 144 Lorne Street, Markdale. Spring interment of cremated remains at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Durham.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
